Job summary

UAP inc. is seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to ensure data accuracy across the employee lifecycle. You will manage employee transactions, validate compensation data, and support payroll data loads within Workday and other HR systems.

You will collaborate with People & Culture and Management teams to maintain data quality, provide system training, and participate in HR integrations and SOX controls. The role is a temporary contract to Sept 30, 2027, based in Canada (Quebec).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in HR administration or HR operations.
  • Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS.
  • Experience with a workforce management or timekeeping system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and approve employee transactions, including hires, promotions, transfers, and other workforce changes.
  • Validate position, compensation, vacation, bonus, and other employee-related data.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of information within Workday and other HR systems.
  • Support payroll operations by preparing data loads and performing required validations.
  • Process employment terminations and prepare Records of Employment (ROEs).
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to managers on HR systems and processes.
  • Contribute to integration activities related to acquisitions and organizational changes.
  • Participate in SOX controls and support continuous improvement across HR and Payroll.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries via email and ServiceNow.

Your Impact:

What You Bring

You are known for your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

You have:

  • A college diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three(3) years of experience in HR administration or HR operations.
  • Experience with Workday or a comparable Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Experience with a workforce management or timekeeping system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
