Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. in Canada is seeking a contract Cultivation Technician to support daily plant care across multiple cycles.

You will perform watering, pruning, transplanting, and harvesting, while ensuring compliance with pesticide regulations and safety guidelines. You will collaborate with Cultivation Technicians and supervisors, maintain batch records, and adhere to Cannabis Act regulations throughout a 10-hour shift schedule on rotating days.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 2–3 years of agricultural or horticultural experience.
  • Must have a valid pesticide license.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in outdoor conditions.
  • Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Take care of plants: watering, spacing, cloning, pruning, transplanting, harvesting.
  • Apply pesticide spray per licensing regulations and product labels.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area and support cultivation team.
  • Communicate with management and assist Growers as needed.
  • Follow QA SOPs and OSHA safety requirements.

Job Summary

Vacancy Status: This posting is new headcount. Multiple positions available. Employment Type: Contract from March/April to November 27, 2026. Shift: 4, 10‑hour shifts per week (rotating days); 7:00am – 5:00pm. Compensation: $20.00/hr.

Main Duties
  • Responsible for taking care of plants which includes: hand watering, spacing, cloning, pruning, transplanting, leafing, tying, harvesting; inspect plants and bud product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediately; maintain batch records.
  • Apply pesticide spray to crop in accordance with licensing regulations; inspect product for deficiencies and report abnormalities; follow product labels, determine label rates; clean and disinfect equipment.
  • Work cohesively with coworkers; keep a tidy and organized working area and ensure personnel within the team are as well; responsible for communicating and supporting with Cultivation Technicians and/or other Cultivation Personnel of work required to be completed on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with management; accept processing guidance from Assistant Growers and Master Grower.
  • Comply with Quality Assurance SOPs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA, 2000).
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while consistently wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Follow the Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations, and any new revisions.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in agricultural or horticultural work.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • A valid pesticide license required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, as required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and withstand exposure to outdoor elements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
