Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. is seeking a Cultivation Manager to lead cultivation activities, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve operational effectiveness. You will actively monitor KPIs, manage people and processes, and drive continuous improvement to meet production targets.

The role emphasizes ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and quality while building a high-performing team within a dynamic cannabis production environment.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in operations, preferably in agribusiness, perishable foods, or beverages; cannabis production/processing strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with batch records and cannabis cultivation requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Provincial and Federal Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a high-performance team and manage ambiguity.

Salary Range

CAD $80,000 to $100,000 DOE.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Site Director, the Cultivation Manager leads cultivation activities and works collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. The role is accountable for improving operational effectiveness through active floor presence, KPI monitoring, continuous improvement, and effective management of people and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage people, process, and equipment for cultivation activities
  • Provide leadership, help build and motivate staff to achieve production targets
  • Motivate and lead a high‑performance team, including attracting, recruiting, retaining, and developing talent
  • Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and ensure clear communication to the team
  • Ensure cultivation activities and finished products comply with internal and regulated standards
  • Foster and drive a continuous improvement culture and recommend changes to team structure, process, and equipment
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to improve workflow and correct process gaps swiftly
  • Establish, measure, and monitor cultivation‑related KPIs and report to the Site Director via daily/weekly reports and dashboards
  • Monitor departmental performance against goals and take corrective action when necessary
  • Develop and sustain effective knowledge transfer within the facility to support corporate objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Lead safety culture by ensuring adherence to OHS requirements for all team members, processes, and equipment
  • Perform other duties as may be required by management
Qualifications
  • 2‑5 years of progressive experience in operations, preferably in agribusiness, perishable food, or beverage industry; cannabis production and processing experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with batch records and cannabis cultivation requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Provincial and Federal Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to instill a culture of high performance, accountability, and quality
  • Interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate difficult situations
  • Strong delegation skills and capacity to effect change through others without direct involvement

  • Participate in performance management initiatives, including data collection and reporting of departmental KPIs
