Job summary

Tilray is seeking a Packaging Technician for an on-site role in Winnipeg. You will package and palletize finished products, operate packaging equipment, and ensure materials are ready for production while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include quality checks, equipment cleaning, and adherence to GMP/HACCP guidelines. Prior experience in manufacturing and forklift or pallet jack operation is preferred; accommodations and training available as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line environment is asset.
  • Experience in pallet jack or forklift operation is asset or willing to train.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Understanding of GMP and HACCP is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Package and palletize finished products.
  • Operate packaging equipment to meet efficiency standards.
  • Sort packages into boxes or trays.
  • Ensure materials are ready and staged prior to production.
  • Transport product to warehouse using pallet jack or forklift.
  • Maintain production records and document checks.
  • Assist to disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed.
  • Keep work area clean, sanitized and maintain housekeeping.
  • Comply with Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures.

This position will also be responsible for preparing packaging materials for production run and the cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work area.
