Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support harvesting and related post-harvest processing activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area.
  • Identify and remove non-conforming product.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace per GMP and Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as pruners, pumps, scales, and computers.
  • Follow guidance from Team Leads and Supervisors.
  • Operate, verify, and clean precision equipment (Moisture Read, Keirton trimming machines, Munch Machines, cannabis sorters).
  • Identify and remove non-conforming product.
  • Training will be provided for specific tasks.

Job Summary

Reports to the Supervisor. Processing personnel support post-harvest cannabis processing activities under direct supervision. This role is responsible for executing assigned tasks related to Post Harvest processing. Must ensure compliance with Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, Good Production Practices (GPP), Good Agriculture and Collection Practices (GACP), and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and critical to maintaining product quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance throughout the post‑harvest lifecycle.

Job Description
  • Post Harvest Activities include but are not limited to harvesting support, racking, drying, de‑racking, bucking, curing, trimming, and any cleaning related activities.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures and regulations required for health and safety, production needs, and maintaining a high-quality product standard.
  • Report any possible quality issues or concerns to your Team Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools including but not limited to pruners, manual and electric pump jacks, scales, computers, etc.
  • Accept processing guidance from Team Leads and Supervisors.
  • Operation, verification and cleaning of precision equipment which may include but not limited to:
    • Handheld Moisture Read
    • Keirton trimming machines
    • Munch Machines
    • Cannabis sorters
  • Identify and remove non-conforming product.
  • Training and education will be provided for specific tasks and duties.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Cannabis experience is preferred but NOT required. Training will be provided.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing, food, agriculture, or pharmaceutical environments is an asset.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements (trimming, sorting, packaging prep).
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as required.
  • Ability to work in environments with plant material, cannabis dust, and controlled temperature/humidity conditions, including Greenhouse work.
  • Use of PPE including gloves, hair nets, beard covers, lab coats, and masks as required.
Greenhouse Work

While it is not your primary job task, you will be trained to work in Greenhouse processes in the event of any planned or unplanned Post Harvest Downtime.
