  • Technical Service Representative

    Summit Search Group is proud to partner with Biolantic as we search for a new Technical Service Representative to join their team. The Technical Service Representative will serve as the technical liaison between the customer and the necessary manufacturers or suppliers. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing device errors, repairing said equipment issues, and completing preventative maintenance in order to reduce the possibility of equipment downtime. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
    • Tie workflow to schedule
    • Manage all assigned installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
    • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
    • Produce timely and detailed service reports
    • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
    • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
    • Build positive relationships with customers
    • Travel to various locations in Atlantic Canada
    • Part or equipment sourcing from approved vendors
    • Direct contact with customers for scheduling, service and sales requests
    • Assist in special projects assigned by upper management
    • Inventory management
    • Other duties as assigned by upper management
    Qualifications:
    • Completion of a Biomedical Electronic Engineering Technology, Engineering Technologist, or a similar program
    • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules including weekends and evenings
    • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
    • Familiarity with tools and their applications
    • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills to understand customer complaints and clearly relay solutions to technical problems
    • Ability to travel within Atlantic Canada, with overnight stays.
