The Role

We are seeking a Technical Service Representative based in Regina, SK, to provide on-site technical product services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic medical devices. This is a remote position with a company vehicle, gas card, cell phone, and laptop provided. The candidate should reside within the Regina area.

The Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, test, and certify electronic medical devices requiring field service support.
  • Provide service to hospitals across Manitoba and act as backup for Saskatchewan when needed.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately related to service calls and scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Stay current on industry practices and assist with customer presentations and trade shows as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Individual

Candidates must meet Customer Credentialing requirements, including immunizations where applicable. We are an equal opportunity employer and will accommodate those unable to be vaccinated where legally permissible.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate from a community college or university in electronic/biomedical engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent English communication skills, strong analytical skills, and high initiative.
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving skills.
  • Legal ability to travel to the US for training.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Legal work authorization in Canada; no sponsorship available.
  • Travel up to 70% required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hospital laboratory medical equipment repair is an asset.
Key Working Relationships

Internal: Field Service team, Sales team, Technical Specialists, Support staff.

External: Customers including Laboratory Managers and Supervisors.

Work Environment

Field-based role requiring autonomous work in a home office with travel. Physical demands include lifting up to 75 lbs, extensive travel, and various physical activities. Must have a valid driver’s license and suitable vehicle.
