Atlas Copco Canada Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative – Oil Free Air Division in Eastern Ontario to drive sales and build strong relationships across Kingston, Ottawa, and surrounding markets. The role combines autonomous work with collaboration to maximize revenue and market share.

You will work with internal teams, qualify leads, and present quotes while ensuring high customer satisfaction through technical knowledge and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in the technical selling of industrial equipment, ideally compressed air equipment.
• Technical knowledge of our products or equivalent knowledge from experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maximizing sales of all oil free air products to current and new customers.
• Meet revenue, unit sales, market share targets with optimal price realization.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing and terms; develop promotional materials.
• Manage day-to-day sales activities using the CRM tool and plan sales targets.
• Collaborate with back office, service operations and other sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support distributors and act as a technical sales resource for oil-free air product lines.
• Update product and sales knowledge through education, publications and networks.

Your new role will be

As our newest Technical Sales Representative – Oil Free Air Division, you will enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with our internal support group in order to maximize sales of all oil free air products. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to form relations with others will help you in your mission to achieve sustainable and high-level customer satisfaction!

We are looking for a candidate based in Eastern Ontario (Kingston, Brockville, Ottawa, Kanata, North York)

The main activities you’ll take care of

• Maximizing sales of all oil free air products to our current and new customers through relentless sales prospecting activities focused towards the assigned markets
• Ensuring that related sales targets are met in terms of revenue generation, unit sales, customer share, market share and market coverage while giving due attention to highest price realization
• Following up on customers and new leads and referrals resulting from service activities, as well as preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, pricing and credit terms and obtaining, developing, delivering, and presenting sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs
• Managing the day-to-day sales activities, developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets and markets through the common CRM tool
• Ensuring appropriate and adequate collaboration with our back office, service operations, service sales teams and other equipment sales teams to attain sustainable, high-level customer satisfaction
• Providing support to and responding to requests from the distributors in the assigned territory for oil-free air product lines as well as acting as a resource on how to sell these product lines
• Taking an active role in updating your job knowledge for both products and sales/marketing strategies by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations

• Your self-starter attitude and ability to work autonomously without relying on others, while at the same time are capable of collaborating well in teams
• You have a strength in your interpersonal skills that allow you to easily form relations with others, lead negotiations and close orders
• You are self-motivated in your own development and will take the lead to learn new methods, new tools, improve yourself and initiate making use of available materials
• You have experience in the technical selling of industrial equipment, ideally compressed air equipment
• You have either technical knowledge of our products, technical education or equivalent knowledge gained from experience
• You have intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office
• You have a valid driver’s license

• Base Salary $75,000-$80,000 + Comission
