Job summary

Air Solutions Canada Inc. is seeking an energetic, organized customer-focused individual to join our Waterdown team. This is a busy, hands-on role at the centre of our customer experience.

You’ll support our outside sales team, communicate directly with customers, prepare and follow up quotations, process purchase orders and make sure that our customers receive top draw, responsive, professional service they’ve come to expect from Air Solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, inside sales or similar roles.
• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up meticulously.

Responsibilities

• Assist outside sales with appointments and calls.
• Enter and maintain customer and sales data in the CRM.
• Obtain pricing and delivery lead times from suppliers.
• Prepare and send quotations and proposals.
• Follow up quotations by phone and email.
• Process purchase orders and sales orders in NetSuite.
• Coordinate with sales, service, parts, and operations to meet customer needs.
• Reconnect with dormant customers and identify new opportunities.

Air Solutions Canada is looking for an energetic, organized and customer-focused person to join our Waterdown team.

This is a busy, hands-on role at the centre of our customer experience.

You’ll support our outside sales team, communicate directly with customers, prepare and follow up quotations, process purchase orders and make sure that our customers receive top draw, responsive, professional service they’ve come to expect from Air Solutions.

Great customer care, strong follow-up and experience and a willingness to pick up the phone are essential.

What You Can Expect to Be Doing:

• Assist our outside sales team with booking customer appointments and sales calls
• Assist them with entering and maintaining customer and sales call information
• Obtain pricing, and delivery lead times from suppliers
• Prepare and send customer quotations and proposals
• Follow up quotations by phone and email
• Answer customer questions and keep them informed
• Help move opportunities forward and close orders whenever possible
• Process customer purchase orders and enter sales orders into our CRM, NetSuite
• Assist with product information, pricing, availability, and order status
• Coordinate with sales, service, parts, and operations to look after customer requirements
• Reconnect with dormant customers, and identify new opportunities
• Take ownership of customer enquiries and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

• Experience in customer service, inside sales, industrial distribution, equipment, parts, or service would be an asset
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Compressed Air, Filtration, and Microsoft 365 would also be helpful
