Job summary

Verto People Ltd. seeks a Technical Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to develop new business and manage accounts across Western Canada, selling pressure equipment and aftermarket solutions into oil sands, power generation and petrochemical sectors.

Base salary is up to $130,000 with a performance-related bonus; full-time role covering Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Relocation to Edmonton or Calgary is possible, with travel across Western Canada.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within engineered equipment or heavy industrial services.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to engineers, reliability teams and project managers.
• Knowledge of pressure equipment standards such as ASME and RAGAGEP is a plus.
• Willing to relocate to Edmonton/Calgary and travel Western Canada.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for fired and unfired pressure equipment, including boilers and WHRB/HRSG systems.
• Develop relationships with industrial customers, engineering teams, procurement and project stakeholders.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying new customers across Western Canada.
• Lead technical sales discussions, negotiations and proposals through to purchase orders.
• Develop account plans, maintain a sales pipeline and provide forecasts.
• Collaborate with BD teams to identify additional project and aftermarket opportunities.
