Relationship building is key!
Duties/Responsibilities
- Represents SFI with potential candidates.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, meets with Project Managers to discuss hiring requirements and candidate status reporting.
- Builds relationships with placement agencies to assist with the recruitment process.
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
- Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
- Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective online sources for open positions.
- Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
- Conducts preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality, and salary requirements.
- Provides feedback to management about details regarding applications and connects qualified candidates with hiring managers by scheduling interviews.
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Works 3 days in our Bethesda, MD office.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience interviewing and assessing potential hires for technology positions.
- Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
- Proficiency in using software and online databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates. Including scheduling interviews emailing, messaging, scheduling, and tracking/reporting.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any technical questions a potential hire may have. Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
- Proficiency working within the Google Platform and Paylocity (or related ATS).
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field preferred or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles preferred.
- Experience recruiting for federal contracts / clients a plus
All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment, and Credit History.
Other Information
- The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $90,000 annually.
- SFI maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations.
- This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.
