Job summary

ARC’teryx in New Westminster is seeking a Technical Supervisor to validate manufacturability and optimize processes for mass production. You’ll lead a skilled manufacturing team, drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and ensure quality standards across sampling and lot production.

You will collaborate with Planning, Engineering, and Quality to plan capacity, validate new products, and transition to mass production while maintaining strong communication and reporting across daily to monthly

Qualifications

• 8+ years of apparel manufacturing experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, standards, and production methods
• Intermediate knowledge in pattern construction
• Understanding of product development from prototyping to bulk production
• Ability to set objectives and align the team for execution
• Experience with LEAN or modular manufacturing
• Experience with Quality processes in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Oversee sample production line in collaboration with leaders and contributors.
• Set and achieve all KPIs for sample production lines.
• Collaborate with Planning and Technical Development to determine sampling capacity and schedules.
• Align with Quality to ensure samples meet standards; mentor production team.
• Work with Engineering on size runs and mini-bulk samples for validation.
• Provide feedback on Design for Manufacturing improvements.
• Deliver technical training to production teams for transition to mass production.
• Develop a high performing workforce and culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify production flow improvements to sustain long term success and lead teams to implement them.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production issues and keep the delivery schedule.
• Maintain accurate production data in internal systems for reporting and planning.
• Communicate production status updates daily, weekly, and monthly to align priorities.
• Support special projects as assigned.
