Job summary

Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound is seeking a Technical Lead for the HIS Renewal project. You will lead technical readiness, coordinate vendor efforts, and ensure secure, reliable technology across Brightshores sites.

The role requires five+ years in complex health IT environments, experience with enterprise systems, and strong networking and identity management skills. Travel between sites and after-hours work are expected during deployment and stabilization.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in information technology, computer science, engineering, health informatics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of progressive technical experience in complex enterprise or health care environments.
• Experience with major clinical or enterprise system implementation and hospital information systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking, identity management, single sign-on, and end-user device management.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate vendors, and manage risk and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination for adoption of the TransForm Shared Service Organization platform.
• Coordinate assessments, remediation, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover and go-live across sites.
• Ensure local technology, devices, workflows, and support processes are safe, reliable, and aligned with regional HIS.
• Translate standards into practical implementation plans and coordinate transitions to operations.
• Travel between Brightshores sites and work outside regular hours during critical project periods.
