Job description

We are seeking a Technical Inside Sales Coordinator who will fit into a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role operates within manufacturing plants in the Barrie, Ontario area.

This candidate will ideally assist in the day-to-day sales and estimation department by coordinating with customers to provide quotes, estimates, and bills of materials for prospective projects. Additionally, the candidate will process new orders and coordinate the processing of existing orders through the design and production pipeline.

We are in a high-growth phase and are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and highly motivated individual who can handle a variety of tasks. The role involves a diverse range of daily activities.

The candidate will work within a close-knit team, reporting to the VP of Sales, and will collaborate closely with the design and production departments.

Core Duties:

1. Creating Quotations, Estimates, and Bills of Materials
   • Coordinating with customers to provide project quotes and BOMS
   • Collaborating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and integrators to gather project information
2. Inside Sales & Customer Service
   • Communicating via call/email with customers, vendors, and suppliers to coordinate sales, orders, and service tasks
3. Order Processing & Service
   • Processing new orders and ensuring adherence to order procedures
   • Coordinating with design, production, and shipping teams to streamline project workflows
   • Gathering necessary information from customers, vendors, suppliers, and integrators to facilitate design and production
   • Addressing service issues collaboratively with involved parties
4. Create CAD Drawings
   • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drawings is a plus for creating project-related drawings
5. Process Improvement
   • Assisting in the enhancement and overhaul of existing sales, design, production, shipping, and operational processes
