Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technology professional to manage design documentation for the Engineering department. You will gather required documents, coordinate with internal teams, and support the design of 2D and 3D production drawings.

Responsibilities include assisting designers, releasing outputs to other departments, and maintaining accurate records. A Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and CAD experience are required or highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience in electrical engineering tech.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Electrical design experience is an asset.
• Experience with AutoCAD/CREO and SAP/Microsoft Office preferred.

THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU

This position's primary responsibilities are to manage the design documentation for the Electrical Engineering department by gathering the documentation required and coordinating with various internal departments. This position will also provide administrative support to the Engineering department and assist with the design of production drawings in both 2D and 3D.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Performing other duties as allocated.

WHAT IT TAKES

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and/or work experience in related field.
• Experience with design software databases such as AutoCAD and CREO.
• Experience in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Electrical design experience is an asset.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
