Job summary

Yorkville University and Toronto Film School is seeking a Business Analyst, Technology and Operations to bridge Technology and Operations. You will document needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and support ERP configuration, compliance initiatives, and workload management tooling.

You will work hybrid, splitting time between our Toronto office and remote work, collaborating with business stakeholders and IT to drive efficiency and growth across the institution.

Qualifications

• This role requires a post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis, including gathering and translating requirements, process mapping, and supporting system implementation or integration projects.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and shifting priorities.
• Ability to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements across operations, IT, and compliance.
• Lead discovery and workflow mapping sessions; develop use cases and process diagrams.
• Make recommendations on feasible solutions and prioritize risks.
• Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Support project delivery and vendor coordination, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
