Job summary

University Pension Plan Ontario is seeking an Analyst, Investment Operations for a 12-month contract in downtown Toronto under a hybrid work policy.

The role covers investment accounting, reporting, and operations across public and private markets, ensuring data accuracy with custodians and fund managers to support timely analysis.

You will help develop processes, implement controls, and collaborate with investment teams to improve efficiency and prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Working towards an accounting designation preferred (e.g., CPA); CFA considered an asset.
• 2–4 years relevant experience in investment accounting in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage data for portfolio reporting and support portfolio analysis.
• Perform reconciliations of investment transactions and NAV.
• Oversee end-to-end trade matching and settlement processes.
• Prepare monthly/annual working papers for financial reporting and audits.
