Job summary

Leap Recruitment Partners is seeking a Commercial Account Manager in Vaughan to join a growing insurance brokerage. You will manage a commercial book, nurture client and underwriter relationships, and ensure policy accuracy from inception to renewal.

We value strong communication, attention to detail, and ongoing professional development. A RIBO license and 2+ years of commercial insurance experience are required, with pursuit of CIP/CAIB/CRM assets encouraged.

Qualifications

• Active RIBO license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance experience.
• Pursuing CIP, CAIB, or CRM is an asset.
• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a commercial book of business from inception to renewal and maintain client and underwriter relationships.
• Ensure policy documents are accurate and manage inquiries, quotes, binders, and statements of values.
• Review exposures and loss experience to ensure adequate coverage; negotiate renewals and remarket policies when needed.
• Handle inbound calls, client requests, policy changes, and paperwork such as vehicle pink slips and invoicing.
• Contribute to cross-sell and upselling campaigns and other business initiatives.
• Participate in stewardship reviews and present proposals for prospective clients with Account Executives.
• Engage in training and professional development to grow skills and industry knowledge.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and insurance partners.
• Provide backup support to other Account Managers as needed.
• Achieve performance metrics as outlined by the Client Services Manager.
