Job summary

Splitsville Entertainment in Pickering is hiring a Team Leader to drive daily operations and guest experiences in a fast-paced centre. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure a clean, safe environment while delivering WOW moments to guests.

You’ll also manage scheduling, tackle guest concerns, and help push sales through promotions and excellent service. This role offers hands-on leadership with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• As a Team Leader, you’ll support the management team during shifts and uphold Splitsville standards.
• Candidates should demonstrate guest service focus, leadership ability, and people coaching.
• Smart Serve certification and Food Handlers Certificate are preferred requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support daily operations across all departments
• Deliver exceptional, friendly guest service in person and by phone
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback
• Ensure areas meet cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards
• Support team scheduling, breaks, and shift transitions
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
• Drive sales through upselling and team targets
• Help control labour and operating costs
• Ensure compliance with policies including cash handling and health & safety
• Complete checklists, reporting, and shift summaries
• Oversee booking systems and accurate guest data entry
• Coordinate team communication for smooth guest flow and events
• Maintain knowledge of food, beverage, and service offerings
• Support stock control, inventory management, and audits
• Ensure guest experiences from parties to casual visits run smoothly

As a Team Leader, you’ll support the management team in the day-to-day running of the centre during scheduled shifts. As a Team Leader, you will deploy the team and delegate tasks to create the Splitsville experience for our guests by providing WOW experiences and maintaining a clean and comfortable centre environment.
