Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Team Lead to oversee the Retail Dining operations at Saint Mary's University, floating between Tim Horton's and Starbucks on campus. You will supervise opening/closing, guide staff, and support rush periods while maintaining strong guest service and safety standards.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll prioritize teamwork, ensure quality service, and uphold company policies. This union position with SEIU Local 2 offers benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience working in hospitality industry required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership role, either as an individual contributor or people manager required
• Experience with POS systems and cash control procedures
• Skilled in prioritization of tasks and time management
• Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene

Responsibilities

• Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all guests
• Oversees the operation and personnel workflow in absence of the Supervisor/Manager
• Train and develop personnel as required
• May support inventory and ordering
• May perform outlet opening or closing
• May support with monthly location audits, (boards, First Aid Kits)
• May assist with weekly inventory as required
• May complete reports for occupational/non-occupational illness or injury
• Ensures cleanliness of operation
• Ensures adherence to franchise and company standards
• Ensures proper use, storage and handling of chemicals on-site
• Assists with any onsite promotions and advertising
• Monitor s cash handling procedures
• Balances cash float and verifies deposit and safe
• Handles customer service complaints with assistance from Manager/Supervisor
• Covering and ensuring breaks and lunches are given
• Perform other job duties as assigned

The Team Lead will float between Tim Horton's and Starbucks on the Saint Mary's University campus, overseeing the opening of each location and supporting team members across both locations.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
