Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Office Services Team Leader to coordinate and supervise the daily workflow of the Office Services team in our Vancouver office. You will assign and prioritize work, provide hands-on support, and ensure high‑volume printing, copying, scanning, binding and related services meet tight deadlines.

You will train, coach and mentor staff, manage vacation coverage, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with Facilities, IT and other Business Services teams while

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in office services, document or print services, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and time-sensitive requests.
  • Strong knowledge of document reproduction and production processes, including high-volume printing, copying, scanning, binding, finishing, and document preparation.
  • Working knowledge of courier and postage services, including preparing and processing outgoing mail and courier shipments, Canada Post and major courier providers.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting commercial office equipment, including high-volume printers, copiers, scanners, and finishing equipment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively delegate work and adjust to changing demands.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, collaborative, and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and exercise sound judgment when resolving issues or determining when escalation is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems, equipment, and technology.
  • Ability and willingness to work as a hands-on team lead, spending a significant portion of the day performing Office Services duties alongside the team.
  • Ability to safely perform physical requirements, including lifting and carrying boxes, paper, and supplies weighing up to 40 lbs. (18 kg), bending, moving materials, and handling office equipment.
  • Flexibility to work alternate hours, including 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and occasional overtime as required.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in office services, document or print services, or a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment

  • Strong knowledge of document reproduction and production processes, including high‑volume printing, copying, scanning, binding, finishing, and document preparation
