Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Laval, Quebec, is seeking a motivated Team Lead for mobile equipment mechanics. You will maintain, repair, and refurbish fleet across sites, lead a small team, and report to the Supervisor.

The role requires experience in a similar position, a diploma in heavy equipment mechanics, and a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and reliability. Occasional travel to Port of Quebec included.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated Team Lead to join our team in Laval, Quebec. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Team Leadmobile equipment mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing the fleet, working at various sites and following up regularly with their team leader.

What you’re responsible for:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mobile equipment (trucks, excavators, loaders, lifts, etc.);
• Perform visual inspections and carry out preventive maintenance according to schedules;
• Replace defective parts and make necessary repairs;
• Ensure that equipment operates safely and in accordance with company standards;
• Travel occasionally to support the team at the Port of Quebec site.
