Job summary

AIM in Lévis, Quebec is seeking a skilled labourer to join the maintenance team as an assistant mechanic. The role is full-time, Monday to Thursday, 1:00 p.m.

to 11:30 p.m., with an evening premium and strong progression opportunities. The assistant mechanic will support maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment, prepare surfaces for inspection, lubricate parts, and help ensure conveyors and production-line machines operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance team in carrying out their work.
• Prepare and clean surfaces in order to inspect and lubricate mechanical parts.
• Lubricate equipment under the supervision of a mechanic.
• Ensure the proper use and operation of company equipment.
• Clean conveyors on the production line.
• Ensure that machines on the production line are functioning properly.
• Inform your supervisor of any required action, problems detected, or delays.
• Work safely and in compliance with company OHS policies and procedures.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Job Description
