The Opportunity:

As part of the Ontario Field Services Team, you'll drive our plans to enhance service offerings through collaboration with a team of engineering specialists, professionals, and technical staff.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Forecast staffing levels based on backlog and upcoming pursuits.
  • Manage resource allocation to meet workload and financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure revenue recognition and allocation.
  • Mentor staff, fostering retention and career development.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to share resources, ensure safety, and demonstrate leadership.
  • Uphold safety and ethical standards, complying with WSP’s Code of Conduct.
  • Develop business plans aligned with regional and global strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to find innovative solutions to complex work situations.
  • Conduct quarterly site visits and safety inspections.
  • Coordinate with Radiation Safety Officers to ensure compliance with CNSC licensing.
  • Translate technical and business needs into actionable plans and objectives.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites, adhering to WSP's Life Saving Rules.

What you'll bring to WSP:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in materials or geotechnical testing and inspection.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and projects.
  • Knowledge of civil construction practices and testing standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L).
