Job summary

Catering in Coniston is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students at a secondary school. You will help create an inclusive learning environment and assist teachers with classroom activities to promote engagement and wellbeing.

You should have experience with children or young people, a patient and supportive approach, and strong communication. DBS check is required, and QTS or equivalent is expected for placement eligibility.

About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students across the secondary school. You will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students receive the individual support they need to engage with their learning.

Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, but candidates with relevant experience working with young people may also be considered.
