Job summary

Wolfcreek in Canada seeks an interim Full-time teaching position for grades 10-12, focused on literacy and numeracy intervention within a complexity team including admins, teachers, educational assistants, and support staff.

You will assess literacy and provide targeted intervention, support small-group numeracy, monitor progress, and adapt supports while building positive relationships with students and staff.

Job description

Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE Interim teaching position
• Instruction in a complexity team, working with administration, teachers, educational assistants, and support staff to assist students with a range of learning needs in grades 10-12
• This position will focus on literacy and numeracy intervention, and supporting diverse learners of varying cognitive levels
• Duties will commence September 8, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Duties to include:

• Completing literacy assessments and providing targeted intervention
• Providing foundational numeracy support to individuals and students in small groups, with course work, organization, and assignment completion
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting supports as needed
• Building positive relationships and responding to changing student needs

Qualifications:
