Talent Acquisition Specialist

Groundworks is North America’s leading foundation repair and water management specialist. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) to join our Sales & Service recruitment team and help us hire high‑quality talent across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Advises hiring managers on recruiting best practices, HR compliance, company policies, and departmental procedures.
  • Coordinates with Human Resources, hiring managers, and staffing reports to confirm staffing needs.
  • Maintains the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate requisition and candidate data, including interview notes, feedback, offer letters, and related paperwork.
  • Partners with recruiting agencies, as approved by Management, to support recruitment efforts.
  • Conduces intake calls with hiring managers to review position requirements, establish interview schedules, and determine recruitment strategies.
  • Sources and recruits qualified candidates using active and passive methods (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Assesses candidates for current and future roles through quality screenings.
  • Coordinates interview logistics with candidates and hiring managers, including virtual or in‑person schedules and travel itineraries.
  • Provides regular recruiting updates to stakeholders, tracks progress and performance toward recruiting goals.
  • Drafts and extends verbal and formal offer letters, assists with negotiations, and tracks offer acceptance.
  • Maintains strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and stakeholders.
  • Reports to work on time each working day.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of full‑cycle, high‑volume recruiting experience.
  • Human resources professional certification preferred (but not required).
  • Working knowledge of talent acquisition and HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday) and job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Excellent customer service experience with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.

  • Occasional travel (up to 15%) to corporate office, branch locations, or company events.
  • Base salary: $70,000‑$75,000 (DOE) annually with potential for annual bonus.
