We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness, and empowerment to our clients, families, and each other.



TheTalent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiteris responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring compliance with applicable employment legislation, maintaining accurate applicant data, and continuously improving talent acquisition workflows. This role requires strong analytical, administrative, and interpersonal skills to attract and retain top talent. TheTalent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiterwill collaborate closely with Human Resources, hiring managers, external recruitment partners, and other relevant stakeholders.



This position is a non-unionized, full-time, permanent position. The rate of pay is $28.00 per hour. This position is 40 hours per week.



Key Responsibilities:




  1. Manage end-to-end recruitment for all organizational roles, including job posting, resume screening, and interview coordination.

  2. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify position requirements and develop tailored job descriptions.

  3. Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, networking events) to attract diverse talent.

  4. Maintain positive relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions to expand talent pipelines.

  5. Work with Marketing and HR to develop and promote a compelling employer brand

  6. Promote and integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion practices to attract a diverse candidate pool.

  7. Ensure fair and unbiased selection methods by implementing structured interviews and standardized evaluation criteria.

  8. Generate regular recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

  9. Oversee and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate data.

  10. Collaborate with payroll, hiring managers and HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.



What you will bring:




  1. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment strategies.

  2. Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  3. Minimum of 1 year of full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition experience.

  4. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in recruiting.

  5. Proven analytical and organizational skills, with experience in generating recruitment reports.
