Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides full-cycle recruiting services for assigned business units, sourcing, qualifying, and delivering diverse candidates for high-volume roles. The successful candidate will build trust as a business partner and maintain credibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the hiring process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to approved processes and embedding Ainsworth values and culture.
  • Participate in strategic planning with key business partners to understand current and future hiring needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
  • Recruit passive candidates, profile individuals, gauge chemistry and motivation for fit.
  • Proactively source, screen, and maintain a diverse talent pipeline for current and future roles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate interviews with the Talent/HR team.
  • Network through industry events, meet-ups, social media, and referrals.
  • Experience with online job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Jobillico is preferred.
  • Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers and support recruitment initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with government grants and programs is required.
  • Social media proficiency is required.
  • French language skills are an asset.
  • Ability to manage the entire recruitment process and build pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong multitasking skills, confidentiality, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, ATS, and HRIS systems.
