Job summary

Cascades in Toronto is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor - Skilled Trades to lead recruitment across multiple GTA locations. You will partner with plant leaders to forecast workforce needs, build candidate pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

The role requires at least 3 years in recruiting skilled trades within high-volume environments, knowledge of the GTA labour market, and proficiency with ATS tools such as SuccessFactors. Travel to GTA facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience recruiting skilled trades.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Strong project management to handle multiple recruitment initiatives.
• Knowledge of GTA labour market and sourcing channels.
• Experience with ATS, preferably SuccessFactors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationships.
• Willingness to travel to GTA facilities; bilingual English/French a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Your Role

AsTalent Acquisition Advisor - Skilled Trades, you'll play a key role in attracting and hiring skilled trades talent across multiple locations while partnering with business leaders to support workforce planning objectives. You will:

• Lead the full recruitment cycle for skilled trades positions, from intake meetings through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, define candidate profiles, and support workforce planning initiatives.
• Source, engage, and build pipelines of qualified skilled trades candidates using proactive recruitment strategies and networking activities.
• Develop engaging job postings and recruitment campaigns in collaboration with talent attraction partners to maximize visibility and candidate reach.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professional guidance, and effective process management.
• Analyze recruitment metrics, monitor service levels, and identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes and efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records while ensuring consistency and compliance with recruitment practices.

What you bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting skilled trades talent.
• Experience recruiting in a high-volume, multi-site, manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment initiatives, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously
• Knowledge of the GTA labour market, sourcing channels, and recruitment best practices.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors, and recruitment reporting or analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively partner with hiring managers.
• Proven ability to proactively source talent, build professional networks, and develop long-term candidate pipelines.
• Ability to travel regularly to GTA facilities; bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.
