Job summary

Cascades seeks a Talent Acquisition Advisor - Skilled Trades to lead full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades across multiple GTA locations, collaborating with business leaders to support workforce planning. You'll source, engage, and build pipelines to meet hiring goals while shaping compelling postings and campaigns.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in high-volume recruiting, strong project management, and knowledge of SuccessFactors; travel to GTA facilities and bilingual English/French are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recruiting skilled trades talent.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Strong project management skills across multiple initiatives and timelines.
• Knowledge of GTA labour market and sourcing channels.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with hiring managers.
• Ability to travel regularly to GTA facilities; bilingual English/French is a strong asset.

Your Role

AsTalent Acquisition Advisor - Skilled Trades, you'll play a key role in attracting and hiring skilled trades talent across multiple locations while partnering with business leaders to support workforce planning objectives. You will:

• Lead the full recruitment cycle for skilled trades positions, from intake meetings through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, define candidate profiles, and support workforce planning initiatives.
• Source, engage, and build pipelines of qualified skilled trades candidates using proactive recruitment strategies and networking activities.
• Develop engaging job postings and recruitment campaigns in collaboration with talent attraction partners to maximize visibility and candidate reach.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professional guidance, and effective process management.
• Analyze recruitment metrics, monitor service levels, and identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes and efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records while ensuring consistency and compliance with recruitment practices.

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Talent Acquisition Advisor - Skilled Trades if you have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting skilled trades talent.
• Experience recruiting in a high-volume, multi-site, manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment initiatives, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously
• Knowledge of the GTA labour market, sourcing channels, and recruitment best practices.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors, and recruitment reporting or analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively partner with hiring managers.
• Proven ability to proactively source talent, build professional networks, and develop long-term candidate pipelines.
• Ability to travel regularly to GTA facilities; bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.
