Job summary

Cascades in Toronto seeks a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Supervisor to lead recruitment efforts across English-speaking Canada. You will shape strategies, support team growth, and drive hiring excellence while collaborating with leadership.

The role emphasizes people development, process improvements, and strong partnerships with HR Marketing and other teams, with a largely remote work model and travel to Cascades plants as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading recruitment teams and coaching recruiters.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in French and English (bilingual).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Proficient with ATS and recruitment reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day recruitment operations across English-speaking provinces of Canada.
• Balance requisition workload and hiring priorities.
• Coach, develop, and support a team of 5 Talent Acquisition Advisors & Coordinators.
• Monitor service levels, hiring timelines, and team performance.
• Support complex, strategic, and hard-to-fill recruitment mandates.
• Manage escalations and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Partner with other Supervisors to ensure alignment and consistency.
• Identify process improvements and lead implementation projects.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with HR Marketing to optimize regional talent attraction and employer branding.

Your Role

As Bilingual Talent Acquisition Supervisor, you'll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.

Your Scope Includes

• Lead day-to-day recruitment operations across the English-speaking provinces of Canada
• Balance requisition workload and hiring priorities
• Coach, develop, and support a team of 5 Talent Acquisition Advisors & Coordinators
• Monitor service levels, hiring timelines, and team performance
• Support complex, strategic, and hard-to-fill recruitment mandates
• Manage escalations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Partner closely with our 2 others Talent Acquisition Supervisors for Quebec & USA to ensure alignment and consistency
• Identify process improvements and lead implementation projects
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with our HR Marketing team to build, implement, and optimize regional talent attraction and employer branding strategies aligned with business and workforce planning needs

What You Bring

• Experience leading or coaching recruitment professionals
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative leadership and coaching capabilities
• Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives
• Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a bilingual team environment
