Job summary

Cascades in Vaughan is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor - manufacturing operations on a 12-month contract. You’ll lead full recruitment for hourly manufacturing roles across GTA locations, with a hybrid model of remote work and frequent plant visits.

You’ll partner with hiring managers, target talent needs, and develop hiring strategies. You’ll advise on labour market trends, craft engaging postings, and build pipelines through proactive sourcing and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recruiting hourly talent in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and handling many requisitions.
• Strong knowledge of GTA labour market, sourcing channels, and recruitment trends.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (preferably SuccessFactors) and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with proactive sourcing skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to GTA facilities.
• Bilingual English/French is a strong asset.

Your Role

As Talent Acquisition Advisor - manufacturing operations, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:

• Lead the full recruitment cycle for hourly manufacturing positions across assigned locations.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, identify talent needs, and develop effective hiring strategies.

• Create and promote engaging job postings and recruitment campaigns to maximize candidate attraction.
• Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, hiring events, and collaboration with talent attraction teams.
• Monitor recruitment metrics, maintain accurate ATS documentation, and identify opportunities to improve hiring performance and service delivery.
• Ensure consistency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Talent Acquisition Advisor - manufacturing operations if you have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting hourly talent within a manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume environment.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and managing numerous requisitions simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of the GTA labour market, sourcing strategies, and recruitment channels.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors, and leveraging recruitment metrics to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions.
• A proactive approach to sourcing, networking, and talent pipeline development.
• Ability to travel regularly to GTA facilities.
• Bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.
