Pomerleau in Canada is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to drive end-to-end recruitment for the Buildings Division, supporting projects from $1.5M to $1B. You will own the candidate journey, source top talent, and partner with project leaders to ensure a seamless hiring experience.

Bring 5+ years of TA experience, strong sourcing skills, and a passion for exceptional service. This role supports a hybrid work model and opportunities to contribute to employer branding and workforce development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in construction or high-tech industries.
• Strong recruitment metrics knowledge and proven track record.
• Excellent relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders and client groups.
• Extensive sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean/X-ray search.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment process from intake to offer signatures, sourcing, interviewing and feedback to client groups.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and pipelines for upcoming projects.
• Act as a brand ambassador and showcase initiatives to become a top employer of choice.
• Deliver excellent customer service through candidate and client guidance.
• Build strategic talent pipelines for future project work and network in the local community to enhance employer branding.
• Support new hire integrations and onboarding activities as needed.
• Provide coaching and thought leadership on recruitment best practices and interviewing techniques.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor within Pomerleau's Talent, Culture and Leadership team, you will play a key role in the future success of the organization by leveraging your recruitment expertise. Recruiting for a wide range of positions in support of projects within our Buildings Division - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will be responsible for managing the candidate and hiring manager experience from start to finish throughout the entire recruitment process.

What you will do

• Own the full recruitment process from intake to offer signatures, strategically sourcing, interviewing and providing feedback to your client groups.
• Get creative with your sourcing techniques, tapping into the best resources for the requisition at hand.
• Take full ownership of the candidate experience, acting as a brand ambassador and developing creative ways to showcase our initiatives of becoming a top employer of choice.
• You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service through the experiences and guidance you provide to your client groups.
• You are always thinking one step ahead, connecting with passive candidates and building strategic talent pipelines for upcoming project work.
• Assist with your new hire employee integrations, supporting onboarding and providing additional assistance where needed.
• Networking? No problem! You love being out in your local community supporting the development of Pomerleau's employer branding and creating memorable first impressions.
• Act as the strategic support and subject matter expert for your client groups, providing coaching and thought leadership as it relates to upholding recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques and candidate experiences.

This role could be for you if you have

• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition under your belt, preferably in the construction or high-tech industry. Good knowledge of your recruitment metrics and can speak to your solid track record.

• A knack for building exceptional relationships with your internal and external stakeholders and client groups.
• Extensive sourcing experience (Boolean and X-ray search) utilizing various tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience working in and maintaining an updated talent pipeline in an Applicant Tracking System.
