Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join the Talent, Culture and Leadership team on a 12-month contract with strong potential for permanence. You will own end-to-end recruitment for diverse projects across Canada, from intake to offer, and drive candidate experience and branding initiatives.

A hybrid work model supports corporate roles across Ontario and British Columbia. You will source creatively, engage passive candidates, and build talent pipelines, while coaching

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience and a solid track record.
• Strong sourcing ability and experience with proactive candidate engagement.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment process from intake to offer, advising clients through each step.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to fill requisitions efficiently.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor within Pomerleau's Talent, Culture and Leadership team, you will play a key role in the future success of the organization by leveraging your recruitment expertise. Recruiting for a wide range of positions in support of projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will be responsible for managing the candidate and hiring manager experience from start to finish throughout the entire recruitment process.This role is offered as a 12-month contract to start, with a strong intention of becoming permanent. As Pomerleau continues its rapid growth across Canada, we anticipate ongoing needs within the Talent Acquisition team, making this an exciting opportunity to join an organization with long-term career potential.

What you will do

• Own the full recruitment process from intake to offer signatures, strategically sourcing, interviewing and providing feedback to your client groups.
• Get creative with your sourcing techniques, tapping into the best resources for the requisition at hand.
• Take full ownership of the candidate experience, acting as a brand ambassador and developing creative ways to showcase our initiatives of becoming a top employer of choice.
• You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service through the experiences and guidance you provide to your client groups.
• You are always thinking one step ahead, connecting with passive candidates and building strategic talent pipelines for upcoming project work.
• Assist with your new hire employee integrations, supporting onboarding and providing additional assistance where needed.
• Networking? No problem! You love being out in your local community supporting the development of Pomerleau’s employer branding and creating memorable first impressions.
• Act as the strategic support and subject matter expert for your client groups, providing coaching and thought leadership as it relates to upholding recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques and candidate experiences.

This role could be for you if you have

• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition under your belt. Good knowledge of your recruitment metrics and can speak to your solid track record.

• A knack for building exceptional relationships with your internal and external stakeholders and client groups.
• Extensive sourcing experience (Boolean and X-ray search) utilizing various tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience working in and maintaining an updated talent pipeline in an Applicant Tracking System.
