Job summary

GardaWorld in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a Tactical Security Mobile Guard to patrol critical sites, monitor access, and respond to incidents. The role emphasizes situational awareness, quick decision-making, and collaboration with law enforcement where needed.

The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, training through GardaWorld Academy, and uniform provisions. Candidates must hold a valid security license and be authorized to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification.
• Ful G or G-2 driver’s license.
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift.
• Able to pass an Advanced Use of Force Training Course.
• Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Community outreach with vulnerable populations.
• Enforcement of the Trespass to Property Act.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments , Secure Facilities, etc.
