Join to apply for the Systems Support Specialist role at Agfa Inkjet Solutions.

This position is part of the remote technical support team that provides product support to end-user customers, resellers, and field technicians. The remote support technician uses diagnostic tools to resolve issues related to inkjet hardware and software.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle calls from the Frontline team, providing guidance or escalating as needed.
  • Use remote diagnostic tools like TeamViewer for troubleshooting.
  • Perform remote system installations and upgrades.
  • Escalate problems and coordinate with field technicians for resolution.
  • Provide customer training on inkjet equipment.
  • Assist field engineers with problem resolution via remote diagnostics.
  • Order parts for maintenance and customer needs.
  • Maintain product knowledge through documentation and support forums.
  • Contribute to field installations and escalations (Travel 20%).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Printing Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the graphic arts industry with knowledge of inkjet and workflow systems.
  • Proficient with remote support tools like TeamViewer and Teams Chats.
  • Experience with industry-standard operating systems and hardware configurations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Dynamics systems.
