Job summary

Galvion seeks a Head-Systems Product Engineer II to lead helmet and integrated head protection system development for military applications in Canada. You will guide cross-functional teams and own configurations, BOMs, and technical documentation across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in product development or related engineering roles.
• Experience with defense/military products, tactical communications, or military standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of helmet and integrated helmet systems.
• Manage products through concept to manufacturing and support lifecycle.
• Create and maintain BOMs, TDPs, and product specifications.
• Lead technical project teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to spec.
• Serve as primary technical contact for stakeholders and customers.
• Support new product introduction and collaborate with manufacturing for quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Drive DFM, DTC, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to technical proposals, quotations, and customer presentations.
