Job summary

BRP invites a Helmet Engineering Team Lead to drive the technical and strategic development of helmet products from design to validation. You will oversee simulations, lab tests, benchmarking and tool development while coordinating with multiple functions to ensure quality and innovation.

Based in Canada, the role requires strong leadership in a matrix environment and fluency in both French and English to communicate with suppliers and teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including team or project management.
• Proficiency in mechanical design, validation, and simulation tools/methods.
• Knowledge of quality standards (DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP).
• Strong leadership and communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical, human and strategic helmet development in a matrix structure.
• Oversee design, validation, lab testing and benchmarking activities.
• Define and maintain design/validation tools for the discipline.
• Lead and grow the discipline’s peer circle for knowledge sharing.
