Job summary

Galvion designs, develops and manufactures ballistic helmets and related power and data systems for military markets. The Electrical Product Engineer II leads product development, manages roadmaps, and interfaces with Marketing and Customer Support to ensure field readiness and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in product development or related engineering role.
• Experience with defense, tactical communications, DTC, or military standards.
• Strong interpersonal leadership and collaboration skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of QMS, ISO, and military standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as first-line technical resource for internal customers on Galvion products.
• Own product roadmap for at least one product line and set priorities.
• Develop and maintain product configuration and release Technical Data Packages.
• Collaborate with Marketing for sales collateral and Customer Support for field processes.
• Lead the Product Life Cycle (PLC) and cradle-to-grave management.
• Lead Design-to-Cost and supplier selection for projects.
• Coordinate development schedules and communicate design issues across the team.
