Job summary

Galvion is seeking a Head-Systems Product Engineer II to lead helmet and integrated head-protection product development from concept to production. You will coordinate with design, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers to drive high-performance, mission-critical products.

You will guide product strategy, manage DOCs and BOMs, and ensure designs meet military standards and cost targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in product development or a related engineering role.
Experience in defense or military products, tactical communications, and military standards.

Responsibilities

Lead development and continuous improvement of helmet and integrated helmet systems.
Manage products throughout their lifecycle from concept to ongoing support.
Develop and maintain product configurations, BOMs, and TDPs.
Create product specifications, validation plans, and documentation to meet requirements.
Lead technical project teams to deliver on schedule, budget, and spec.
Serve as primary technical contact for internal stakeholders and customers.
Support new product introduction and collaborate with manufacturing to improve quality and cost.
