Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing quality systems in the food and beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience in regulated environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, and ISO 22000 standards.

The Role

Based at our Vancouver office, the Systems Administrator, QMSwill play a key role in implementing, maintaining, and enhancing QMS, LIMS and SPC systems. This role ensures the long-term effectiveness of these systems and supports their daily operation within the Quality department. Responsibilities include user management, system configuration, and ongoing optimization.

  • Conduct user training and provide basic troubleshooting for QMS, LIMS, and SPC systems.
  • Design and implement system reports, modules, and functionality improvements.
  • Collaborate with Quality and IT teams on system implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Manage statistical quality control software for data analysis, charting, and trending.
  • Respond to and resolve user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Food Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing quality systems in the food and beverage industry.
  • Proficiency with QMS and LIMS software (e.g., ETQ) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., TTB, FDA, EPA) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, and ISO 22000 standards.
