Job summary

Kassen Recruitment is seeking a Senior VP of Fund Accounting - Private Equity for a global financial services client. You will lead strategic quality initiatives and drive operational excellence across the fund accounting function.

You will develop enterprise QA frameworks, define KPIs, mentor a high-performing team, and spearhead continuous improvement. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA designation a plus.
• Experience in fund accounting, especially private assets or private equity, is required.
• Strong leadership and change-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide QA frameworks and protocols.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to track performance and compliance.
• Lead a high-performing QA team with mentorship, structure, and direction.
• Spearhead continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows and escalation protocols to minimize disruptions.
• Design and deploy tools for real-time monitoring and automated quality checks.
• Create resolution matrices, troubleshooting guides, and QC templates.
• Strengthen internal controls and refine quality checkpoints in key workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Maintain robust quality documentation and control procedures aligned with industry best practices.
• Lead rollout of training programs focused on quality awareness and operational excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align QA initiatives with operational goals.
• Deliver executive-level reporting on key metrics and outcomes.
• Act as a change agent to drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and quality.
