Job summary

A major financial services firm in Toronto is seeking an experienced Vice President to oversee accounting services for real asset funds. The role demands strong leadership skills and over 7 years of public or private accounting experience, especially in real estate or private equity. The Vice President will manage client relationships, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and mentor team members. Qualifications

• 7+ years public/private accounting experience.
• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting services for real asset funds.
• Manage client relationships and maintain compliance with agreements.
• Review financial statements, reports, and working papers.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong leadership skills

Project management skills with attention to detail

Knowledge of Real Estate and Private Equity Fund Accounting

Experience with fair value reporting

Education

Bachelor or Master degree in accounting, finance, or economics
