Job Summary

Preparing food materials and making various types of sushi. We are willing to train people who have a passion for Japanese cuisine, especially sushi. With the high demand for Sushi Chef, this position has many development opportunities.

Job Location

Wind Japanese and Thai Mississauga (6485 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, ON, L5N 1A6)

Job Duties

· Make various Japanese sushi based upon a high volume of food orders.

· Prepare food materials, such as raw fish, meat, food garnishments, and eating utensils.

· Double-check the presentation of the dishes.

· Ensure all the raw materials are handled and stored properly based upon food safety regulations.

· Ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed on time.

· Help maintaining the tools and equipment used in the workplace.

· Participate in monthly or weekly cleaning and staff meetings.

Qualifications

· Be good at using knives.

· Be positive and can work at a fast pace and under pressure.

· Be flexible for working and rotating shifts

· Be creative in creating new dishes

· Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
