Zusammenfassung

Flatiron Construction Corp is seeking a Surveyor to perform topographic and cross-section surveys, provide control lines and elevations, and support project planning across sites in Edmonton. You will ensure accurate measurement and assist with layout and quantity calculations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience, HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and familiarity with survey instruments; Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of survey instruments and practices.
• Developing knowledge of survey programs and site layout techniques.
• Developing communication and technical understanding.

• Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.
• Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by survey management.
• Check as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
