Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Surveyor in the Peel Region, Mississauga to perform topographic and cross-section surveys to support project planning and design. You will provide precise work control lines, elevations, and layouts, collaborating with a skilled team to capture critical site details.

The role requires a 2+ year survey/land mapping background, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of survey instruments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of survey or land mapping experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of survey instruments and practices.
• Developing knowledge of survey programs and site layout techniques.
• Developing communication and technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide work control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and installation of materials.
• Assist in evaluating potential dimensions and other field problems.
• Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by survey management.
• Check as-built conditions using surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys for planning and payment quantities.
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
