Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Surveying Student for a 4- or 8-month term starting September 2026. You will contribute to layout and grading, monitor quality against contracts, and assist in surveying for layout and conformance across projects.

Ideal candidates are in a recognized drafting/engineering/construction management program, familiar with AutoCAD and Revit, and skilled with survey equipment such as total stations and GPS. Apply via email for the Toronto district.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work in a construction environment.
• Understanding basic surveying principles with a practical approach.
• Familiar with construction plans such as structural, architectural and shop drawings.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Student must be in a recognized drafting, architectural, engineering or construction management program
• Experience with operating total stations and survey equipment/GPS for layout and as-built purposes

We are seeking Surveying Students for our Toronto district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 or 8 months starting September 2026.

As a Surveying Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
