GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for part-time shifts in Toronto, ON. You will monitor security systems, patrol premises, and control access while documenting incidents and maintaining vigilance across varied environments.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification - required.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escape in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
