Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in London, Ontario. You will monitor security screens, scan for threats, and respond to incidents, ensuring safety across facilities such as operation centres and gatehouses.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Analyze security system performance for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as security operation centres, call centres, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
